Revelstoke

Revelstoke: “Uncrowded, Undiscovered, Unspoiled... Unforgettable.”
I liked this town.  Siobhán did not.  It is something of an anomaly, not a town that has normal rules of economics.  The place has 2 Info Centres, downtown RV and tour-bus parking, and special events 7 days a week.
9000 locals and three internet cafés in the downtown core. 10 or so gas-stations spread out along the outskirts of town. It also is the closest community to the hydro-electric dam.
The local music on Sesame Street was less than great.  During the setup we could hear awesome things like:
“I am the lead singer, why is my back up the same volume as me?”
“I am the lead banjo, does his guitar need to be that loud?”
“In this song the accordion is the most important instrument, make it the same volume as my banjo.”
Siobhán and I left town is search for something better.
