Salmon Arm

Salmon Arm: “Discover Downtown”
This was a good place. We only stayed one night because of the train, but would have stayed more if it didn’t come by so dang often. We lazed around on the beach the first evening we arrived, and most of the next day.
Before we got around to lazing around we got our shit done: oil change, groceries, the mall, visitor info centre.
I think this would be a good place to return year after year – with a personal water craft, a peddle boat, and a cabin a ways from the train (but not to far.)
On the way out we visited the other mall, bought more groceries, and realized that we had accomplished pretty much nothing in the time we stayed in Salmon Arm, but had still got more stuff done than we have in most other towns.
